I was there one the best days of my whole life.
Carl absolutely crushing it...
Jon.............fantastic is putting it mildly!!!
I couldn't play bass standing next to Carl because he plays so damn loud. I'd DEMAND a plexiglass shield.
Greg Lake was the Graet Singer of ELP. Im 65 Years - this was my Time in East Germany - the DDR. Thanks.......
I was there as well with my wife of 38 years. We started going to see Yes in 1978. Great show just wish they had played Awaken.
The singer is terrible he sucks should have Lake do all vocals
I was there. Section 4 Row U Seat 11. Great show!
Listening since 1977
I had tickets but was stuck in the hospital. I'm glad to hear people finally shut the hell up, or were drowned out.
And people complain about backing tracks
If all those decades never passed... Jon could easily be Yes frontman even now. They behaved pretty bad towards him in 2008. Anyway his spirit never disappeared.
Great show Carl Palmer is the Buddy Rich of rock and roll get crazy
Was so happy to see Greg was singing this song amazing absolutely love this ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
beautiful
I was there. Thanks for posting this! Hope you have more. 🤘
What venue was this?
@@stlrockn the Ryman auditorium
You know what? Good for Carl! He found a way to go on tour with ELP and not make it just about a guy trying to do a show with session guys trying to be Keith and Greg. This works, and Carl deserves as much adulation as he can get. He's just as important as the other guys. Keeping the music alive this way is great!
I totally agree. Nice to have Carl front and center and the other guys augmenting him. Lastly, the dude is 74 years old and can still pound the skins!!
@@Geemoo yeah, there's a certain amount of fitness to maintain. I mean, look at Danny Carey. He's almost ready to start filling in Pension forms and he's the next greatest in line after Neil Peart. Still touring and with multiple bands.
Such a beautiful, haunting song. I'm transported in time to a different place, a lifetime ago. Oh, where have the years gone?
Greg Lake wrote this song when he was a kid.
Sorry, and sad...
this is awesome I saw ELP play live at Rich Stadium playing Brain Salad Surgery....using the Quad Speaker System filling the whole stadium....James Gang with Joe Walsh was one of the back up acts...Im a musician to this day and I have fun playing and singing this song on acoustic. Cheers from Canada!
@@rebelmachine I saw that tour too.
Long Beach Arena for me. Quad PA was very impressive and a great memory. Thank you ELP......
I saw that tour in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall. I am going to see Carl Palmer tomorrow night. I am so looking forward to it
I Saw ELP 6 times in Argentina and 5 Carl Palmer ELP legacy, Asia 2 times, original members, John Wetton band 3, etc. All in Buenos Aires Argentina 🤙
@@miguelangelmontenegro9939 wow amazing !
Todd , still rocking out !
It doesn't seem like they were offended, but it still would have been nice if Joan Rivers had had the professionalism to have done her homework beforehand, so she could have known that Mrs. Cowsill was deceased, rather than just blurting out, "Where's your mom?".
What a voice. Stunning. I was not aware that his Cuban!
Rivers tries to pry controversial secrets out of them, for some "Gotcha" Journalism
Wish he had done better with Hello It’s Me
@@bronsoncasey1911 me too.
Mark does a beautiful sexy version...
🎉🏆👍🏼
I was there and there was so much more to this concert than his first few songs. I really enjoyed it. 75 years old is the new 50 thanks for posting.
FAVE❤
Quality recording James. We'll done
Thanks!
Todd with Glasses? Wow, he's finally growing up. Still he makes everything look good even some of his ridiculous outfits. 75? I cant comprehend it. He looks barely 60.
He's actually 76 now and will turn 77 on June 22nd !
❤I live 10 minutes from the Ryman. How did I not know he was there!!! I love him so much! ❤
Saw this tour in Clearwater. Todd was better than ever and the whole band was spectacular. Thanks for posting this.
I saw him in Orlando just before the CLW shows...he was phenom! I heard he really digs the gigs at CLW...was it off the charts ?
Does Kasim ever take a day off? Lol
So their father wasn't abusive? Their story changes to get attention or something.
The DC show a few days ago was fantaboulus.
Thanks for shooting this. It was a great show :)
Wish that he wouldn’t ware his PJ ‘s on stage.
Yeah. His outfits lately are getting stranger but it's Todd. Wouldn't have it any other way
What’s with that disgusting vibrato that he always puts in his music now when he cut these records back in the day, he could sound good vocally, although he wasn’t a great vocalist. Now he sticks that fake disgusting vibrato in and goes jazz voice. It takes away from what was great about the songs in the day…..! I remember Todd when we played on the same Bill back in Philly with Woody’s truckstop. He was a big headed asshole then but a town guitar player and obviously a talented songwriter. I don’t know what steered him into this direction of thinking that he’s singing well….!
Ann is amazing...and Tom Bukovac's guitar tone...
Thank you for sharing this. Met him in Woodstock in the 90s, nicest guy. Have not seen him perform in years.
He still sounds great!
@@jamesdowning37129 He does! 💖
@@schoolsgirl What are you waiting for? He's going to be 76 in a couple of weeks. Get to a show!
Kasim Sultan👊👊🙌. Time for some Utopia “Libertine”😆👍👍
What a great song.
Awesome show. So glad to see it happening.
It was my 3rd time seeing him. He always delivers.
his voice ages like a fine wine!
I'd say he's singing better now than in the 70's.
Very nice. Wish he had not postponed Atlanta, but we see him there in October
Great show. This is Todd's encore.
Foamy lives! And no sunglasses?! I figured that was his encore. I’ll see him in Atlanta, but I hate that he’s gonna be at the Buckhead Theatre. Last time he was there the security folks were pricks. I didn’t realize he was going to Nashville, or I would’ve just driven up there instead.
@@Lucypetuniaggmyou’re right!! No sunglasses!
That shoe has got some sole!
Blast from the past!
